New-Look Timberwolves Preparing for Regular Season

October 12, 2017 05:43 PM

Having revamped their lineup over the summer with free-agent signings and trades, the Minnesota Timberwolves will begin their quest to end a 13-season playoff drought when the regular season starts next Wednesday night in San Antonio.

The Wolves 13-season absence from the postseason is the third-longest drought in the "big four" pro sports - and the longest in the NBA. They trail only the Buffalo Bills' 17-year and the Seattle Mariners 15-year run.

The Wolves first game in newly-renovated Target Center is their second game of the season - on Friday, October 20th against Utah.
