Former DeLaSalle high school and Michigan State star and current NBA veteran Alan Anderson is hosting his first camp this week.

Anderson, 34, acknowledged that he's wanted to do something for kids for a while, and is glad it all came together this week at DeLaSalle. He recalled his days at Pooh Richardson's Timberwolves camp in the early 1990's, and how he knows he creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Anderson is currently a free agent, and the Timberwolves are among the teams to inquire. He'd like nothing more than to play for his hometown team. The Raptors and Knicks are among other teams to check in.
