The Wild aren't fully moved into the new facility, so they had to dress at Xcel Energy Center and take a bus the few blocks to the rink. It's located in the old Macy's building.

From Charlie Coyle to Eric Staal and others, they were all impressed with the ice and set-up. When Xcel Energy Center is now booked for concerts, etc., the Wild won't have to worry about practicing at St. Thomas Academy or Braemar Arena in Edina. They hope to be fully moved into the practice facility sometime in February.

The new facility also is being used by the Hamline men's and women's teams and local high schools for games.

The Wild, currently 8th place in the Western Conference, play at Pittsburgh on Thursday night. They have 34-games remaining in the regular season.
