Vikings Sign LB Kendricks to Contract Extension

The Minnesota Vikings have announced linebacker Eric Kendricks has signed a contract extension with the team.

Kendricks has led the team in tackles in his first three NFL seasons, recording a total of 367 tackles (253 solo), 30 tackles-for-a-loss and two interceptions over that time.

The former second-round pick out of UCLA has started 41 out of 45 career games.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the extension is for five years and is worth $50 million, including $25 million guaranteed.
