Bridgewater has missed most of this season and all of last season after a devastating and, at the time, career-threatening knee injury in the preseason run-up in 2016.

Bradford injured his knee in the Vikings second game of the season in September. He attempted to come back, starting the Vikings October 9th game at Chicago, but was unable to finish.

Head coach Mike Zimmer declared Case Keenum the Vikings starter for Sunday's game in Washington.  Keenum has played in relief of Bradford most of the season.

Zimmer says Bridgewater will serve as Keenum's backup and has "100-percent" confidence Bridgewater is ready if needed to play

Kyle Sloter remains the Vikings #3-quarterback.
