Bell Scores 30 as Gophers beat UC Riverside

Kenisha Bell scored 30 points as the Gophers women's basketball rallied from a 15-point deficit to beat UC Riverside 101-75 Friday afternoon at Williams Arena.

The Gophers went on a 19-0 run at the end of the first half and never trailed again. Bell's 30 points was just one point short of matching her career high. 


Carlie Wagner scored 23 points and moved Passed Janel McCarville into sixth place on the Gophers all-time scoring list with 1,841 points.

The Gophers hit 14 of their 31 three-point shots and improve to 11-2 this season. They open conference play on Dec. 28 at Northwestern.
