Hopkins Big Man Joe Hedstrom Talks Wisconsin Commitment

Hopkins 6'11" senior big man Joe Hedstrom committed to Wisconsin this week. He sat down with KSTP Sports' Darren 'Doogie' Wolfson and explained why he chose the Badgers over Utah, UNC-Wilmington, and other schools.

Hedstrom received a 4-for-5 offer, which means he'll walk-on next season then go on scholarship starting in the 2019-2020 season.

Hedstrom's final five schools were Wisconsin, Utah, Denver, UNC-Wilmington, and South Dakota.

Hedstrom's Hopkins teammate, junior forward Zeke Nnaji, also holds a Wisconsin offer.
