Orono's Jarvis Omersa Signs With Gophers

The signing period for college basketball is underway, and Orono senior forward Jarvis Omersa (formerly Thomas) wasted no time doing so in a ceremony Wednesday morning.

Omersa had a great summer playing for Howard Pulley, and parlayed that into an offer from the Gophers. At 6-foot-8, Omera is known for his incredible leaping ability and athleticism.

Omersa chose the Gophers over Pittsburgh, Marquette, Arizona State, and others.

His Pulley teammates, Daniel Oturu (Cretin-Derham Hall HS) and Gabe Kalscheur (DeLaSalle HS), are also signing with the Gophers this week.
