Signing Day Ceremony: Gophers Land Highland Park DB Josh Aune

Highland Park defensive back Josh Aune officially signed his letter of intent to play football for the University of Minnesota, and KSTP Sports was there Wednesday afternoon for the ceremony.

Aune played both linebacker and running back for the Scots. He signed to play as a defensive back for the Gophers. As a senior, Aune had 116 tackles, seven sacks and one interception on defense. He was also named Defensive Second Team All-Metro.

Aune was close to getting an Iowa offer when he committed to the Gophers in the summer.
