Gophers Football Team Buys, Donates Turkeys to Those in Need

When the Gophers say that their mission is to serve and give, they back it up. The football team pooled together money to buy turkeys for those in need. They handed out the turkeys on Tuesday night at TCF Bank Stadium, and KSTP Sports was there.

Head coach P.J. Fleck, along with the team greeted families between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. They took a brief break from preparations for Saturday's regular season finale vs. Wisconsin. The game starts at 2:30 p.m., and can be seen on 5-Eyewitness News.
