Gophers sophomore Amir Coffey will miss the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury, the team announced Saturday.

Coffey, a Hopkins High School graduate, played in only 10 games this season after injuring his right shoulder in January. Sources tell KSTP's Darren Wolfson that he'll have surgery next week and the recovery process should take about six months.
