Fresh Off Buzzer-Beating Win at OKC, Wolves Host Pacers

October 24, 2017 05:09 PM

As a franchise, the Timberwolves have only made four buzzer-beating shots that turned a loss into a victory in their entire history.  Half of them have come from Andrew Wiggins in 2017.

After downing Phoenix on New Year's Day, Wiggins was the hero once again Sunday at Oklahoma City.

Only Malik Sealy (vs Indiana in 2000) and Kevin Garnett (vs Portland in 2007) have hit game-winners for the Timberwolves - while trailing a game - at the horn.

Sunday's win gave the upstart Timberwolves a confidence-building win over a looming Western Conference superpower in Oklahoma City.

Tuesday night's game is against an Indiana Pacers team in full-rebuild mode, expected to finish in the lower half of the Eastern Conference standings this season.
