April 19, 2017 01:35 PM

Linebacker Jack Lynn was a four year contributor for the Gophers, and had a career-high 77 tackles as a senior. He's been training hard the last few months, and awaits a phone call from some NFL team the last weekend in April. Whether he gets drafted or signs as a priority free-agent, Lynn will land somewhere.

KSTP's Darren 'Doogie' Wolfson caught up with Lynn on Wednesday.

Lynn had a recent visit with the Vikings, and a workout with the Bears. He also showed off his skills at the Gophers' Pro Day on March 13 in front of NFL scouts from 26 teams.

In addition to inside or outside flexibility in a 4-3 defense, Lynn can excel on special teams.

Lynn red-shirted in 2012 for the Gophers, then got back-up snaps or started for the next four seasons.

Lynn is from Lake Zurich, Illinois, and earned his degree in business and marketing.
