May 08, 2017 06:10 PM

Defensive lineman Gaelin Elmore (Somerset, WI) talks with KSTP's Darren 'Doogie' Wolfson about his decision to leave the Gophers, and play for East Carolina in 2017.

Elmore chose the Pirates over Arizona, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and others. He'll be eligible right away as a graduate transfer.

In the interview, Elmore says he doesn't have any hard feelings toward the new Gophers staff, and was even contemplating transferring if the old staff had remained.
