Wolves Honor Flip Saunders With Permanent Banner at Target Center

The Wolves honored late coach/president/owner Flip Saunders in a pregame ceremony on Thursday night.

There is now a permanent banner hanging from the rafters at Target Center.

Former long-time voice of the Wolves, Kevin Harlan, was the emcee, and former Wolves players, Sam Cassell and Chauncey Billups, said a few words. Flip's widow, Debbie Saunders, also addressed the crowd.

Flip Saunders passed away October 2015 after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
