Eden Prairie's Casey Mittelstadt won the 2017 Mr. Hockey Award Sunday afternoon in St. Paul.

Mittelstadt, a senior forward, scored 23 goals and had 49 assists in 30 games for the Eagles. Mittelstadt is a future Gopher and is expected to be selected in the first round of this summer's NHL Draft.

Hill-Murray's Jake Begley won the Frank Brimsek Award as the state's top senior goalie.
