Cretin-Derham Hall Returns to State Football Tourney

In the 22 seasons from 1990 to 2011, the Cretin-Derham Hall football team made the Minnesota High School State Football Tournament 21 times - and won two state titles.

But they hadn't been back since... until this year.

After winning a first-round bye in the Class 6A bracket, the #1-seeded Raiders advanced to the State Semifinals at U.S. Bank Stadium with a 12-0 2nd round win over Shakopee and a 28-14 quarterfinal win over Edina.

Cretin-Derham Hall plays Minnetonka in a Class 6A Semifinal scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday.
