Concordia-St Paul steamrolled the competition in the NCAA Division-2 Volleyball Elite Eight, sweeping all three matches including Saturday's 3-0 win over Florida Southern in the National Championship to claim a ninth title in eleven years.

Aside from a two-year absence in 2014 and 2015, the Golden Bears have won every D-2 Volleyball Championship since 2007.  They've added back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017 to the seven-straight they won from 2007-2013.

The back-to-back titles come despite graduating five of the six starters from the 2016 Championship-winning team.

The Golden Bears won all nine sets at the Elite Eight in Penascola, Florida, culminating in a 25-23, 25-20, 25-20 sweep in the title match.

Shelby Seurer had 16 kills and 4 blocks against Florida Southern.  Hope Schiller added 10 kills, 6 digs and 4 blocks.  Tori Hanson delivered 13 digs.
