Vikings Lose RB Bishop Sankey for the Season

August 11, 2017 05:50 PM

Vikings running back Bishop Sankey will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL on Thursday night, a source tells KSTP's Darren Wolfson.

The injury came after a 14-yard run in the third quarter during their preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.

Sankey was a second round pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2014 and was getting an extended look at training camp while Latavius Murray was on the P.U.P. list. He joined the Vikings practice squad in November of last season.
