The Vikings starting offense did not find the endzone in the preseason and that had some fans wondering what they'd see in the opener. The Vikings responded with about as sharp of an offensive performance as they've had in the Mike Zimmer Era.

"I though Sam (Bradford) played outstanding. I thought Dalvin Cook played outstanding," Zimmer said after the game. "I thought the offensive line played outstanding and the receivers made some great catches.

"I have a lot of confidence in those guys," Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford said. "I've seen them make a lot of plays. If they're singled, there's a good chance I'm going to throw it their way."

Bradford completed 27 of 32 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns.

"A lot of people didn't really believe in us and we love that," Thielen said in the locker room. "I think it's going to give us a lot of confidence."
