Sen. Al Franken announced his resignation Thursday following multiple allegations of sexual harassment made against him.
All eyes now turn to Gov. Mark Dayton to see who he might appoint to take Franken's place, and if that choice will run for the seat in 2018 when both Senate seats and the governorship will be up for grabs.
KSTP's Kevin Doran discussed Franken's decision and what things might look like going forward with University of Minnesota political science professor Kathryn Pearson and Hamline political science professor Joe Peschek on a special edition of 'Political Insider.'
