Gov. Mark Dayton on Monday evening stood true to his word and vetoed all five bills that passed through Republican-led legislative chambers earlier in the day.

The governor's office said the bills arrived at Dayton's office at 6:37 p.m. and by 7:05 were presented and vetoed. Just over an hour after the bills arrived, they were sent back to the House and Senate.
