At Issue: 2017 Legislative Session Begins

The 2017 Legislative Session is underway at a gleaming new State Capitol. 200 lawmakers were sworn in this past week to begin work over the next several months.

Governor Dayton unveiled several major proposals this week including his plan for health insurance premium relief, his bonding bill and tax plan. Republicans also unveiled a competing health insurance relief plan that's similar to Dayton's, but also includes income limits for people to qualify for relief.
