Woman Dies in Minneapolis Parking Ramp Stabbing, Charges Added Against Suspect

A 31-year-old woman who was stabbed during a robbery in a downtown parking ramp earlier this month has died, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.

Police say they responded to a report of a stabbing just after midnight July 15 at a parking ramp on Second Avenue North.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult female who had been stabbed. The woman was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center where she died Wednesday.

Police arrested 44-year-old Benjamin Love in connection to the incident Thursday. The investigators involved in the case are amending the charges against Love to include second-degree murder.

Love is being held in the Hennepin County Jail on a $1 million bail, according to police.
