It's a weekend of fall colors and German culture.

This weekend's events include chairlift rides at Hyland Ski Hills and the Twin Cities Oktoberfest celebration.

Chairlift Rides

Participants have the opportunity to have a bird's eye view of fall colors at the Hyland Ski Hills in Bloomington. Rides are available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $5 in advance.

Twin Cities Oktoberfest

Ready for German food, beer and dancing? Look no further than the Twin Cities Oktoberfest celebration. The event runs from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Tickets are $25.
