Warm Weather Expected Through the Weekend

Minnesotans will have the opportunity to enjoy some more warm weather before the other shoe drops and winter gets here, according to KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Thursday is expected to be sunny, with temperatures reaching 42 degrees. The rest of the weekend is expected to continue the trend, with temperatures in the mid 40s.


But Dahl said things may turn on Monday.

Temperatures are expected to hit 44 degrees that day, but drop to 28 come evening. It's the start of a cold front Dahl said is expected to move in.

"No matter how much you prepare for this, it's still tough for your body to adjust quickly to the change," he said.

Moisture on Monday is expected to start as rain, but turn to a wintry mix, according to Dahl.
