On March 3, 1990, a long journey came to an end.

It was on that day that Ely's Will Steger and his five other team members completed the International Trans-Antarctica Expedition.

FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Steger and His Team Completed Antarctic Journey 28 Years Ago

The members - representing six nations - journeyed 3,741 miles by dogsled across the frozen continent and drew widespread international attention.

Steger provided video, showing some of what the group encountered in their travel.
