A 3-year-old child was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening after suffering a gunshot wound Monday, police say.

St. Cloud police said officers responded to a report of a child bleeding on the 1500 block of 15th Avenue Southeast at around 11:17 a.m. Monday. Once there, they were notified a female had arrived at St. Cloud Hospital with a 3-year-old child with a gunshot wound.


The matter remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact St. Cloud police at 320-251-1200.
