Looking to make some money when Super Bowl 52 comes to U.S. Bank Stadium in February?
Two big events in the lead-up to the game need help, and they have started hiring.
The Super Bowl Experience is scheduled for the Minneapolis Convention Center starting the weekend before the game and running up to Super Bowl Sunday.
The event needs 1,000 workers to greet people, give directions and even throw footballs to fans.
Applications were taken and interviews conducted Wednesday at the Solar Arts Building in Minneapolis.
"This is a really cool opportunity to be part of that big football week," said Mike Schardin of MinnesotaJobs.com, the company hiring for the event. "All these jobs are at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It's like a football theme park."
Meanwhile, Club Nomadic - which will set up shop at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake - is holding interviews through Friday. Hiring is being done on the spot.
The giant temporary entertainment venue is expecting 9,000 guests each night over the long Super Bowl weekend.
"We're going to be hiring between 250 and 300 people," said Johnny Mackin, Director of Brand Marketing for Mystic Lake. "We're looking for the best of the best when it comes to hospitality; cooks, servers, bartenders, barbacks and food runners."
