Motorcyclist Thrown Over Hwy. 169 Overpass in Shakopee

Scott County dispatch confirms a motorcyclist was thrown over the overpass at the intersection of Highways 169 and 101 Friday.

The driver was thrown from northbound Highway 169 and landing on Highway 101 in Shakopee after hitting something, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The victim survived the crash and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. As of Saturday, doctors tell 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the Prior Lake man was in satisfactory condition.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the incident.
