A gymnastics training facility in downtown Winona was engulfed in flames around midday Thursday. The flames from the fire could be seen from blocks away.
The building currently houses KidSport Gymnastics. KidSport owner Rob Murray says no one was inside the building at the time. Murray says an early morning practice was held at the gym and everyone left. The fire was reported by a delivery driver.
The building was built in 1912 and is now being called "a total loss," by the owner. However, an addition built in 1982 has been largely unaffected by the fire.

Murray says around 350 gymnasts, who come from across state, are now without a facility.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
