An Anoka man was arrested and is accused of stabbing a Coon Rapids teen with a Samurai-type sword during a prank.
Two teens were toilet papering the homes of both a friend and a neighbor on the 900 block of Charlotte Drive in Anoka around midnight Monday when a man allegedly attacked one of the teens, according to the Anoka Police Department.
The man allegedly smashed out the passenger window of the car the teens were in and attacked a 17-year-old boy. Police say the boy was cut on his left hand and right forearm. He also suffered two stab wounds to his right side and one in his back.
The teens were able to drive away and call police.
The injured 17-year-old needed surgery, police said.
At this point, there has been no word on any charges filed.
