There's a new focus to keep the air in Minnesota clean.

Project Green Fleet is a program that helps reduce harmful emissions. It targeted school buses and trucks in the past, now the focus is on aging construction equipment.

The goal is by making at least 100 construction vehicles across Minnesota run cleaner with new engines and stay ahead of federal air standards.

The program gives grants to construction companies.

Project Green Fleet is run by the state and other groups.
