Motorcyclist Dies after Losing Consciousness, Crashing in Rochester

A 58-year-old woman died after she lost consciousness while riding a motorcycle in Rochester on Sunday evening and crashed, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The incident happened on southbound Highway 52 at 55th Street Northwest just before 6 p.m.

Laurie Snyder of Rochester was traveling on the highway with two other bikers when she lost consciousness and control of her bike, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Snyder was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus, in Rochester, where she died around 8 p.m.

The Rochester Police Department and Gold Cross Ambulance assisted the State Patrol.
