A 75-year-old Milaca man died after a car veered into his lane and collided with him head on Friday in Isanti County.
The incident happened west of Cambridge on Highway 47 at Highway 95 around noon.
Herman Bakke was heading north on the road when another car coming from the opposite direction veered out of the southbound lane and hit Bakke head on, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Bakke died at the scene, the state patrol says. The other driver, 32-year-old Ryan Hoffman of Avon, had no apparent injury.
The Isanti County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol.
