The man accused of killing a Mendota Heights police officer last month is expected to make his first court appearance in Dakota County on Friday afternoon.
Brian Fitch Sr. has been charged with first-degree murder of a peace officer. Police say Fitch shot Officer Scott Patrick during a traffic stop Wednesday, July 30.
