Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton met with superintendents from across the state for a back-to-school seminar.
The meeting was part of the Minnesota Department of Education's 2014 Back to School Superintendent's Conference. School leaders use the meeting to share ideas on how to improve education across the state.
Dayton spoke at the event.
While he touted Minnesota's educational success, he did say more money needs to be committed to our schools.
Minnesota ranks 24th in per-pupil spending for K-12 education. Dayton says that's not good enough.
