The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities is one of the fastest-improving universities in the nation, according to Forbes.
The university shot up in the ranks among other universities across the country on FORBES America's Top College List. The U of M was ranked 543rd in 2009, and 108th in 2014. That’s a 435-rank increase in five years.
The magazine says the university’s high-quality graduates are the reason for the rise. Forbes also says the school has a high retention rate and low debt burden. Also, University of Minnesota graduates have high salaries. Those three things combined, create a strong environment that prepares students for life after college, according to Forbes.
