There could be another hold up on the Southwest Light Rail Line project.
On Monday, a group of residents from Minneapolis' Kenilworth neighborhood asked the federal government to withhold funding until an environmental review can be completed.
The controversial light rail line would be an extension of the new Green Line, running to the west metro from Minneapolis.
The group is concerned the line would cause significant environmental damage to the 1 1/2 mile stretch between Cedar Lake and Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis.
