A father and son are charged in the armed robbery and shooting at a Pawn America store in Roseville last week, but the two are still on the run.

The Ramsey County Attorney charged 51-year-old Marvin Spencer and 25-year-old Marvin Lee Clinton Spencer by warrant. The father is charged with attempted intentional second degree murder, aggravated robbery, possession of a firearm and second degree assault. The son is charged with aggravated robbery.

Spencer Sr. allegedly shot a 27-year-old employee in the leg during the robbery. The employee’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

Authorities say the men were last seen in Georgia, where someone overheard the two men bragging about a jewelry store robbery they committed in Minnesota. That person looked online and learned about the Pawn America robbery. When they saw the getaway car description matched the car of the two men, the person called police.

Dekalb County, Georgia, Sheriff’s Office arrested Marvin Lee Clinton Spencer, but he was released from custody while the investigation was ongoing.

Both men have warrants out for their arrest. Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call local law enforcement or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
