Authorities are still looking for the motorcyclist who led state troopers on a high speed chase from St. Paul to Wisconsin on Sunday night.
The chase started just after 9 p.m. when a trooper tried to stop the motorcyclist for speeding. The motorcyclist took off eastbound on I-94 from Dale Street in St. Paul, leading troopers through the east metro to the Wisconsin border.
At the border, troopers handed the chase off to St. Croix County deputies, who decided to discontinue the chase.
A short time later, deputies responded to the scene of a motorcycle crash. The driver got away, but authorities determined the motorcycle was the one involved in the chase.
