You've heard of a honeymoon suite, but how about a treehouse for honeymooners?
Owners of Hope Glen Farm in Cottage Grove plan to build the metro's first-of-its-kind treehouse around a 75-year-old oak tree.
Couples who get married at the farm will have the option to stay in the treehouse after the wedding.
The treehouse will be 800 square feet, complete with a full kitchen, living room, fireplace and even an oversized bedroom.
"Every bride and groom is so excited, they're all excited and I keep telling them we're going to fill that place with romance and surprise and we will," said Hope Glen Farm owner Paula Bushilla.
Construction will begin in the fall and should be completed by next spring.
The owners expect the treehouse to cost $125,000 to build.
