A van that was stolen from a Minnesota couple while they were in the hospital for the birth of their twins has been found.

Jake and Selena Rosenthal said someone broke into their home in Staples, Minnesota, and stole their family business van with $15,000 worth of cleaning equipment inside. It happened the first weekend in July.

The family now says their Pro Carpet Care van was found in an impound lot in Fargo on Thursday night. They say the thieves apparently locked themselves out of the van.

It’s unclear if the equipment is still inside and what condition the van is in.

The burglary happened while the Rosenthals were in the hospital with their newborns, Austin and Aiden. The twins are now home and doing well, the Rosenthals tell us.

The family said the response they have received since people heard the story has been “amazingly supportive.” A local photographer even donated her time to take pictures of the newborns after viewing our story on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.
