Some in Hastings call it a smelly, mosquito-filled mess, instead of a park.
People living near Conzemius Park say it's more like a swamp. Standing water continues to build up and neighbors say it's become a real hazard.
Last fall the city spent more than $700,000 to fix a ravine and stop streets around the park from flooding, but now water in the park never drains out.
The city of Hastings hopes to have a solution to fix the problem by next month.
