Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find a Kandiyohi County woman and her son.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Amy Winterfeldt violated a court order by taking her four-year-old son, Alex Gomm. Winterfeldt was supposed to bring Alex to his father on July 12, but that didn’t happen.

The boy was reported missing to the Appleton, Wisconsin, Police Department. There is a warrant out for Winterfeldt’s arrest for deprivation of parental rights.

Authorities believe she has her two adopted children with her, along with Alex, and all four may be traveling to Utah or Wisconsin.

Anyone who sees Winterfeldt, or has information about where she is, should call authorities immediately.
