Federal teams have been busy touring flood damage throughout the state. FEMA and Homeland Security teams toured Dodge, Faribault and Lyon counties on Tuesday.
In all, they've seen damage in 22 Minnesota counties and confirmed more than $13 million in eligible damage costs.
Ten more counties are scheduled for tours this week, and state officials say surveillance will continue into at least next week.
The state has requested a presidential disaster declaration and is waiting to hear back from Washington, D.C.
So far, Minnesota has received up to $5 million in federal highway funding to help with the recovery.
