The Minnesota Wild re-signed forward Jason Zucker to a two-year contract according to the team's General Manager Chuck Fletcher.
Zucker was selected with the 59th pick in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Wild. He earned five points in 21 games with the Wild in the 2013-2014 season before tendon issues sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
In March, he underwent surgery to repair a tendon in his left quadriceps but is expected to fully recover before the start of the 2014-2015 season.
Zucker has spent a majority of his career in the American Hockey League where he has recorded 63 points in 77 games in Houston and Iowa.
