Suspects who burglarized a Verizon Wireless store Monday in Waconia climbed through ceiling tiles and cut through walls to get into the storeroom, according to Carver County authorities.

The incident happened at the Verizon store on Vista Boulevard around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Authorities say the burglars forced their way into a nail salon next to the store by prying open the rear door.

They then went up into the ceiling tiles and cut through sheetrock walls to get into the storeroom of the Verizon store.

The burglars stole numerous electronic devices, including cellphones, an iPad and cash, authorities said.

Deputies were able to recover surveillance video from inside the nail salon.

Detectives are continuing their investigation and are following up on leads.
