The world's largest interactive baseball theme park opens Friday in Downtown Minneapolis.
The T-Mobile FanFest is all part of the flurry of activity surrounding the MLB All Star Game on Tuesday, July 15. On Thursday, crews were putting the finishing touches on more than 400-thousand square feet of exhibits at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
Inside FanFest, there is exclusive memorabilia, a breakdown of the history of baseball in Minnesota and the world's largest baseball. Guests might even see their favorite hall of famers giving a lesson or two.
Former Twins player and Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven will be there throughout All-Star Week. "I walked in this morning and had a chance to walk around," Blyleven said. "It's going to be a great place for baseball fans to come out to."
