More violence erupted in North Minneapolis overnight.

Police say three women were shot at the intersection of North 36th Avenue and Freemont Avenue North around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say all three women were stable at North Memorial Medical Center Wednesday night.

Sherrillyn Mosley, the mother of one of the victims, said her daughter Asia, her daughter's best friend Kewasha, and another woman named Jessica were shot outside her house.

Mosley ran outside shortly after the shooting. “I tried to wake my baby up, and my baby wouldn’t wake up, and my best friend wouldn’t wake up,” she said.

Mosley said the violence is enough to make her think twice about living in the community. “I’m ready to move away from here. I just moved here, and I’m ready to go already,” she said.

No arrests have been made.

The shooting comes just hours after Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau pleaded with people to put their guns down and stop the violence as she expands resources to try to curb crime in the area.

This past weekend, there were two deadly shootings within five hours in North Minneapolis.

On Wednesday, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges emphasized the fact that the city and law enforcement are using as many resources as possible to deal with the violence.
